THE GOLDEN CAGE SOCIETY

The Golden Cage Society seeks in its music the combination of catchiness and uniqueness. They are pioneering a much needed fusion between infectious, pop-rock-perfection and boundary pushing experimentation. Expanding listeners minds worldwide with paradigm-shifting, philosophical lyricism and sophisticated instrumentation, the three-piece works on the scars of a meritocracy, homophobia, fear of commitment, existential panic and leaving and finding inner places of longing.

Founded in 2018, The Golden Cage Society worked on songs and sounds for a long time and poured the first results into the mini-EP „MIRA“ in 2020. Soon another release will add new songs to the golden cage.

THE MINI EP „Mira“

„MIRA“ builds the jetty to the musical ocean of The Golden Cage Society. The songs let distortion sounds meet the Spanish lightness of castanets, change the metre like in life shadow and light change, they dance, scream, combine momentum with melodies.

The music wants to create worlds in which one can get lost, get tangled up or dream. From which you return with a smile on your face or a scratch on your chin. To which you like to return, because the songs tell you something new every time.
